I will mix from your full Pro Tools 12 or Logic Pro X session, or you can send me the full stems in .WAV format. I only use the best UAD and Waves plugins to get the sound YOU deserve! I have been mixing in the studio and the live field for more than 15 years, this experience enables me to get you the sound you require. I can do 3 revisions for your mix, the rest are charged hourly.
I can record 24 channels of pristine quality analog to digital conversion via my Allen & Heath Qu24 digital console into Pro Tools or Logic Pro X. I also own the award-winning Apollo Twin Quad interface which features the unison emulated Pre Amp which sounds so good you need to hear it.
I have been in and around live audio since my career began way back in 2002 and have worked with some notable artists. I am available to hire as a FOH or Monitor operator and also have done work as a backline technician or Guitar tech when required. I have worked at major events and festivals across Europe and Australia.
I am an experienced and highly able studio and live audio engineer, hailing originally from Aberdeen, Scotland, but now living in the balmy tropical climate of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, which is known for being the most remote city in Australia and for its great beer.
I have a good knowledge of music, musicality, audio software, audio processes and systems, but not only that, I am also a great communicator, who understands how to get the best from the people I work with. I'm also a guitar player and singer-songwriter in my own right.
As a school boy, I had the chance to work in a professional studio (The Mill Recording Studio) for a week with my school's work experience programme. After this experience I was hooked on the manipulation of audio and how computers could affect audio; I am a sponge for technology.
I started out my engineering career using a Tascam tape recorder in my school music room and submitted my guitar performance to my teacher. She called me into class one day and asked me “How did you do this?”, I showed her and suddenly I was recording the entire class' projects the next day. That’s when I knew what I wanted to do.
Over the years, I've worked in several professional studios, and live environments as an engineer, but am equally able to achieve good results in any situation—from garage to concert hall. I also have experience and a keen interest in all things Audio/Visual, Digital Communications and concert lighting. I might be described as an all-rounder, but I believe that makes anybody a better engineer.
I look forward to hearing from you, and working with you in the near future.

Blah blah he’s amazing
– Donald (Daydream Frenzy)
Danny was welcoming and very patient with us! His skill and knowledge helped us achieve the sound that we wanted. His banter was also f***ing glorious.
– Darryl Barba (singer/songwriter)
I like how he works, flexible and cruisy.
– Michael Wynne (In The Mix)
